FAQ
What UAE box owners ask
Are Fran, Murph and the other benchmarks built in?
Yes. The Girls and the best-known Hero WODs come ready to program, forty in all, and you can add your own box benchmarks. Each time one comes up, the athlete’s score joins their history for it.
Can athletes log in kilos or pounds?
Yes. Set kilos or pounds for the box once, and every app shows and takes weights in that unit: WOD scores, lift records and body weight alike.
Can I sell drop-ins to visiting athletes?
Yes. A drop-in is a plan like any other, priced in AED with a VAT invoice. The visitor books a class with a spot left and checks in with a QR code, with nothing to install at the door.
Do coaches in Dubai need to be registered?
Yes. Under Executive Council Resolution No. 1 of 2020, coaches and professional staff must be on the Dubai Sports Council’s register to work at a sports establishment, and the establishment must keep a record of them. Each coach’s profile holds their certifications.
Does it work for a box in Abu Dhabi or Sharjah?
Yes. VAT is the same across the emirates. Set your box to AED and UAE time, add your TRN, and run each location from one account.
Can I move from PushPress, Wodify or Zen Planner?
Yes. Send us the member export and we import your athletes with you, then set up your class schedule, memberships and on-ramp in AED on a call. Benchmarks are already there.
Does it handle UAE VAT?
Yes. Add your TRN in settings and every payment gets a tax invoice with 5% VAT, in AED. Not registered yet? Invoices go out without VAT until you add one.
Can members pay online?
Yes — renewals and dues are paid by card in the member app, through Stripe or Nomod, settled to your own account. Cash and bank transfers are recorded at the desk.
Why is the price in US dollars?
We bill the software in US dollars. Your members pay you in AED, and their invoices are in AED.
