FAQ
What Dubai studio owners ask
How does it track PT sessions and packages?
Each client’s package has a session count, a price in AED and an expiry. A session comes off the balance only when it’s marked completed, and the client sees what’s left in the app.
Can it work out trainer commissions?
Yes. Set each trainer to a salary, a rate per session or a share, and their pay for the month is worked out from the sessions they completed. The trainer sessions report exports for your accountant.
Do PT trainers in Dubai need to be registered?
Under Executive Council Resolution No. 1 of 2020, coaches and professional staff must be on the Dubai Sports Council’s register to work at a sports establishment, and the establishment must keep a record of them. Each trainer’s profile holds their certifications.
Is personal training subject to VAT in the UAE?
Yes, at 5% once you are VAT-registered. Add your TRN and every package sale gets a tax invoice in AED with VAT shown. Not registered yet? Invoices go out without VAT until you add one.
Can two clients share a session or a package?
Yes. A buddy session takes one session from each client’s package. A couple or a small group can also share one package, drawn down together.
How do I handle the Dubai Fitness Challenge rush?
Share an enquiry link before 31 October, book first-timers into a trial session, and let the WhatsApp follow-ups run. Converting the lead opens the client form already filled in, ready to sell a package.
Can I move from Trainerize, PTminder, Mindbody or a spreadsheet?
Yes. Send us the client export and we import your clients with you, then set up your trainers, packages in AED, each client’s remaining sessions and payouts on a call.
Can members pay online?
Yes — renewals and dues are paid by card in the member app, through Stripe or Nomod, settled to your own account. Cash and bank transfers are recorded at the desk.
Why is the price in US dollars?
We bill the software in US dollars. Your members pay you in AED, and their invoices are in AED.
