Your own member app, on every plan
A white label gym app from ManageYourGym is a listing of its own in the App Store and Google Play, under your gym's name and icon, in your colours. It's included on every plan, not sold as an add-on, and we set it up with you during onboarding.
A skin or a listing of your own?
"White label" and "branded" get used for two different things. The cheaper one is a skin: your logo and colours sit inside the software vendor's app, and members still have to find and download the vendor's name before they reach you. The vendor's icon is what sits on their home screen.
The other is a listing. The app is published in the App Store and Google Play under your gym's name, with your icon, so a member searches for you and installs you. That's what ManageYourGym builds. It's also why you need your own Apple and Google developer accounts: the listing is yours, and it stays yours if you ever change software. The branded app guide for personal training businesses goes deeper on the difference and on when an app is worth having at all.
What members do in it
It's the same member app, running on the same data as your dashboard, now carrying your name.
Self check-in
Members scan their own QR code to check in, and every visit is logged against their record automatically.
Live gym busyness
A live Quiet / Moderate / Busy / Packed read on how full the gym is right now, so members can pick a quieter hour.
Class booking
Browse the class schedule and book a spot in a tap, with an automatic waitlist when a class is full.
Dues, plans & renewal
See what is due and when, browse the plans you sell, and renew from the app.
My trainer & sessions
Members on a personal training package see their trainer and how many sessions they have used and have left.
Booking is where an app earns its place for studios; our class booking software comparison shows how the options handle it.
What a branded app costs here and elsewhere
On ManageYourGym it costs nothing extra on any of the plans on the pricing page. Elsewhere it's usually a monthly add-on or a higher tier. Read from each vendor's own pricing page on 8 October 2026, in USD.
| Vendor | Branded app | Note |
|---|---|---|
| ManageYourGym | Included on every plan, no add-on and no setup fee | You pay Apple and Google for your own developer accounts |
| TeamUp | $99/month branded app | Add-on on top of a plan priced by active customers |
| GymMaster | $150/month + $450 setup fee | Branded member app, priced in USD on its own page |
| PushPress | $97/month white-labeled app | Add-on to the core plans |
| PTminder | $40/month branded app | Paid add-on on any plan |
| Trainerize | $169 one-time on Pro (a skin on iPhone); own store listing on Studio Plus | Pro iPhone clients download the ABC Trainerize app |
Glofox and Mindbody list the branded app as part of their tiers or add-ons without a price on their pages, so they're left out. Apple's $99 a year and Google's $25 once apply whichever vendor you use for a listing of your own.
How setup works
We run it with you during onboarding. The one slow part is Apple: registering as an organisation needs a D-U-N-S number, and Apple's verification typically takes one to two weeks. Start that first and everything else follows.
1. You register the developer accounts
An Apple Developer account as an organisation ($99 a year) and a Google Play developer account ($25 once), both in the gym’s name. These are the stores’ fees, not ours, and the account is yours, so the listing stays yours.
2. We build and submit
You send your logo, brand colours and the name you want under the icon. We build the apps with them and submit to both stores.
3. The stores review
Apple and Google review every new app. That timing is theirs, so we won’t promise a date for it.
4. It goes live
Members search your gym’s name in the App Store or Google Play and install it. The same members, plans and payments you see in the dashboard are what they see in the app.
Branded app — frequently asked questions
Is the branded app really included on every plan?
Yes. The member app, and the trainer app, are published under your gym’s name on every plan, Starter included, and we set them up with you during onboarding. There’s no add-on and no setup fee. What you do pay is Apple’s $99 a year and Google’s $25 once for your own developer accounts.
What is the difference between a white-label skin and my own app listing?
A skin puts your logo and colours inside the vendor’s app, so members still search for and download the vendor’s name. A listing is an app of its own in the App Store and Google Play under your name and icon. ManageYourGym publishes the second kind.
Do I need my own Apple and Google developer accounts?
Yes, because the listing lives in your accounts. Apple requires a D-U-N-S number to register as an organisation, and its verification typically takes one to two weeks. Start both accounts early; it’s the best way to shorten setup.
How long until the app is in the stores?
It depends mostly on Apple and Google. Their account verification and app review are the slow parts, and we can’t speed them up, so we don’t quote a launch date. We build and submit as soon as your accounts are ready.
Do members see the same data as the dashboard?
Yes. The app reads the same member, attendance, class and payment records you manage in ManageYourGym, so a check-in, booking or payment shows up on both sides straight away.
