Arbox Alternatives (2026): What to Switch To, and How to Leave

Arbox is well reviewed and publishes its prices, but it counts the sessions you run each week and keeps the app under your own name for its $299 plan. Here are the alternatives for each reason owners leave, with every price read from the vendor's own page this month, one Dubai studio priced through all of them, and a checklist for moving across.

By Pranat Sharma

Arbox is good software. Most owners who look for Arbox alternatives aren't leaving over bugs or bad service. They're leaving over a price step. Their timetable outgrew a weekly session cap, or their clients wanted to book in an app with the studio's own name on it, and on Arbox that app only comes with the $299 plan. If that's you, ManageYourGym is the alternative we'd point you to. An app under your own name is included on every plan, there's no cap on classes, up to three locations fit on one $169 plan, and every price is on the page ($79, $169 or $349 a month). We move your data for you.

Below are four more Arbox alternatives, grouped by the reason you're leaving: PushPress, Wodify, TeamUp and WellnessLiving. Every published price was read from the vendor's own pricing page on 10 October 2026. After that, one Dubai studio is priced on each platform, and there's a checklist for moving your clients and bundles across. If you only want the head-to-head, see ManageYourGym vs Arbox.

What does Arbox cost in 2026?

Arbox publishes its prices, which plenty of gym software doesn't. Here they are, from its pricing page on 10 October 2026:

PlanMonthlyBilled yearlyWhat you get
Free$0$05 sessions a week, 3 service types, 3 products
Basic$49$39/mo20 sessions a week, 10 service types, 20 products
Standard$129$99/moUnlimited sessions, service types and products
Professional$299$239/moEverything in Standard, plus your own branded app
EnterpriseQuoteQuoteOn-site implementation, custom development, VIP support

Card payments go through Stripe at Stripe's rates; Arbox says it adds no commission on top. The pricing page doesn't mention a setup fee or a contract length, and doesn't say how a second location is billed.

The thing to notice is what Arbox counts: sessions per week. That's fine while your timetable is small. Five sessions a week is free, and twenty is $49, which is hard to beat. But a studio running three or four classes a day is past twenty by the weekend, so for most working studios the real starting price is Standard at $129.

Then there's the app. On Free, Basic and Standard, clients book in the Arbox app. The first published tier with an app under your own name is Professional, and that's a $170 jump for one feature. That gap is the most common reason people search for alternatives.

What Arbox customers say

Arbox reviews well. On Capterra it sits at 4.7 out of 5 from 42 reviews, with customer service rated 4.8. It has no Trustpilot reviews at all as of 10 October 2026. The criticism in the reviews is mild and comes back to a few points:

  • Some admin tasks are harder than they should be.
  • Training and onboarding can be confusing, and a few reviewers found it hard to reach someone.
  • Price. "It's not cheap" comes up more than once, usually from owners on the upper tiers.

None of that's a reason to leave on its own. If Arbox works for you at $49 or $129, it's probably fine to stay. The rest of this post is for owners who've hit one of the price steps, or need something Arbox doesn't put on its feature pages.

If you want an app with your own name on it

This is where the alternatives differ most, so compare it first. Look at the headline price, and also at what the price counts and where the branded app sits.

Read from each vendor's pricing page on 10 Oct 2026, monthly billing. Annual rates where shown: Arbox $39/$99/$239; WellnessLiving $62/$179/$314. PushPress's free plan charges 4.99% + $0.30 per card payment, against 2.89% + $0.30 on Pro. Wodify's pricing page didn't load for us, so we've left its price out rather than guess. Card processing is extra on every platform.

What one studio pays on each

Prices only mean something when you put a real studio through them. Take a studio in Dubai with one location, four coaches, about 180 active members and 40 classes a week. Here's its monthly bill on every platform with a published price, first with a booking app under its own name, then without one.

PlatformWith an own-name appWithout oneHow we got there
ManageYourGym$169 (about AED 621)$169Professional covers 500 members and 30 trainers; the app is always included
PushPress$256$159Pro at $159, plus $97 for the app
TeamUp$288$189$189 for 101–200 active customers, plus $99 for the app
Arbox$299$12940 classes a week needs Standard; the app needs Professional
WellnessLiving$349$199Four coaches rule out Starter; the app is included on BusinessPro

180 members is above our Starter limit of 150, so Professional is the fair comparison. A studio under 150 pays $79 with us, app included. AED at the fixed rate of 3.6725 to the dollar.

Without an app, Arbox Standard at $129 is the cheapest fixed price here. Only PushPress's free plan is lower, and on $15,000 a month of card payments its 4.99% rate costs about $315 more than Pro's 2.89%. Once the studio wants its own app, ManageYourGym is $130 a month cheaper than Arbox for the same studio.

One honest exception. If you run fewer than twenty sessions a week and don't care about your own app, Arbox Free or Basic ($0 or $49, at Stripe's normal card rates) is very hard to beat, and it's cheaper than us.

If the weekly session cap keeps pushing you up

A session cap charges you for growing your timetable, not your business. Adding a 6am class for five early risers costs nothing on most platforms. On Arbox Basic it can be the session that pushes you to Standard.

So decide what you'd rather be charged for. ManageYourGym counts members: 150 on Starter, 500 on Professional, unlimited on Enterprise, and you can run as many classes and private sessions as you like on any of them. PushPress counts features. TeamUp counts the clients who booked or bought last month. None of the three charges for adding classes.

If you run CrossFit and want the WOD in the app

Plenty of CrossFit boxes look at Arbox, but its public feature pages don't mention workout programming or score logging. They cover booking, payments, the shop and reports. If the whiteboard matters to your box, ask for a demo of exactly that before you assume.

Wodify is built around it, and PushPress sells workout tracking as a separate product. In ManageYourGym it's part of every plan. Coaches post the WOD with RX and Scaled versions from the coach app or the dashboard, and athletes log their scores in your box's app. Leaderboards and personal records build up from there. Here's how it works for CrossFit boxes.

If you need a second location priced up front

Arbox's pricing page doesn't say how a second location is billed, and neither do PushPress's or TeamUp's. WellnessLiving puts anything over one location on an Enterprise quote. Ask the question in writing before you sign, because some platforms bill per site and a second branch can double the bill.

On ManageYourGym, Professional covers up to three branches for $169 a month, with one dashboard and revenue for each location. Enterprise is $349 with no limit.

What each alternative is built around

  • ManageYourGym: studios, gyms, CrossFit boxes and PT businesses on one plan. Includes reformer spot booking, class packs, the WOD with scores and leaderboards, PT packages, trainer pay and a member app under your own name on every tier. From $79 a month.
  • PushPress: CrossFit and functional gyms. There's a free plan if you accept a higher card rate, Pro at $159, and the branded app is $97 a month on top.
  • Wodify: CrossFit boxes that want programming and performance tracking at the centre. Get a quote, because its pricing page wasn't readable when we checked.
  • TeamUp: class and appointment studios, priced by active clients, month to month, with retail and gift cards included.
  • WellnessLiving: studios that want retail, video and an AI front desk in one place, priced by staff and features. Our WellnessLiving alternatives post covers it in depth.

ManageYourGym: if the app and the timetable are what pushed you out

We built ManageYourGym for gyms and studios that sell memberships, class packs and private sessions in one place. Classes have capacity limits and waitlists, and reformer studios can let clients pick a specific machine from a map of the room. Class packs expire after the number of days you set, and the credit comes back when someone cancels before your cutoff. Coaches get their own app with the day's classes and sessions, and you can pay them a salary, a rate per class or a share of what they sell. See how it's set up for boutique studios.

Clients book and pay in an app published under your studio's name and icon, on the App Store and Google Play. It's on every plan, not a top tier (here's how the branded app works). Cards go through Stripe or Nomod and settle to your own account, and renewal reminders go out on WhatsApp. In the UAE, VAT-registered studios get tax invoices in AED with their TRN. Every tier is on the pricing page: $79 for 150 members at one location, $169 for 500 across three, $349 for unlimited.

There are things Arbox does that we don't. We have no free plan, we don't sell products or gift cards in the app, we don't charge saved cards automatically at renewal, and we don't sell a door-access reader. If you depend on any of those, weigh that honestly. For a studio that came to Arbox for booking, memberships and an app, it usually isn't the deciding factor.

We move everything for you: members, plans, balances and history. You can keep Arbox running alongside us until you're sure.

Leaving Arbox: a switching checklist

  • Check how you're billed. If you're on an annual Arbox plan, note the end date and plan the switch for then, so you don't pay twice.
  • Export your client list, memberships, bundles and payment history while the account is fully live. Save copies somewhere outside Arbox.
  • Write down what the exports miss: sessions left on each bundle, frozen memberships and their return dates, coupons in use and any credit on account.
  • Save your timetable, upcoming bookings and each coach's pay arrangement.
  • Keep any forms clients filled in, as files.
  • If you use Arbox's door reader, plan how members will get in on switch day. With us it's a QR code at the desk or on a tablet.
  • Plan for payments. Saved cards usually can't move from one account to another, so tell clients before switch day that they'll pay their next renewal in the new app.
  • Pick a switch date at the start of a billing month, not the week before a promotion.
  • Cancel in writing, keep the confirmation, and check your card statement for the next two months.
