Sound familiar

Four things that go wrongwhen the studio grows

01

Who's actually out of sessions?

Packages live in a spreadsheet, a WhatsApp group and a trainer's memory. Nobody knows a client is on their last session until it's gone — and the renewal conversation never happens.

02

Payday takes a weekend

Three trainers, three different deals — commission, per session, salary — and the maths done by hand at month end from whatever each trainer says they delivered.

03

Schedules live on trainers' phones

A no-show, a swap, a double booking. You find out when the client complains, not when it happens.

04

The app doesn't feel like yours

Clients paying premium rates open a generic app with someone else's logo on it. It undercuts the brand you charge for.

How it runs on ManageYourGym

Sell the package, run the diary, pay the team

Everything below is on every plan. Each card says which surface it lives on — the owner dashboard, the trainer app or the client app.

Packages with an honest balance

A 10-pack, a 20-pack, a monthly block — a session count, a price, a validity. Sessions count only when completed, a package never goes negative, and it closes itself on expiry.

One calendar for every trainer

Real dates, durations and session types. Recurring bookings for the Tuesday–Thursday client, changed one occurrence at a time. Buddy sessions draw down two packages in one slot.

Trainer payouts, three ways

Per completed session, a commission on package revenue, or a salary — set per trainer. Payouts and studio margin computed from completed sessions, not a WhatsApp tally.

Owner dashboard

Clients book their own sessions

Clients pick a slot from their trainer's real availability in the app. You decide whether bookings auto-confirm or wait for the trainer's approval.

Client app

Programs and nutrition on their phone

Workout programs and diet plans assigned by the trainer, followed by the client in the app, with the trainer seeing what got done.

Assessments and progress

Measurements, photos and check-ins over time on the client record, so the client sees what they are paying for and the trainer sees what to change.

Trainer app · Client app

Intake forms and waivers

PAR-Q, waiver and goals collected and signed in the app before the first session, stored on the client and visible to their trainer.

Enquiry to trial to package

Leads tracked with a source, a trial session booked, then converted to a client with a package sold and paid — Razorpay in India, Stripe everywhere else.

FAQ

What studio owners askon the demo

Can I run a PT business with no membership plans at all?

Yes. A studio can sell packages only. Clients are active while they hold a live package — no plan, no check-in, no attendance record required. The client app reorganises itself around sessions and packages when that is how you run.

How are trainers paid?

Set a pay model per trainer: per completed session, a commission on package revenue, or a fixed salary. Payouts and the studio's margin per trainer are computed from completed sessions, and each trainer sees their own earnings in the trainer app.

Can clients book their own sessions?

Yes. A client sees their trainer's availability in the app and books into it. You choose per studio whether bookings auto-confirm or wait for the trainer's approval, and the package balance updates when the session is completed.

Do the apps carry my studio's name?

Yes. The client and trainer apps are published on the Play Store and the App Store under your studio's own name and icon, in your colours. A client searching the store finds your studio, not ours.

What stops a trainer from logging sessions that didn't happen?

A session only counts against a package once it is marked completed, an exhausted package is never taken below zero, and packages expire on the validity you set. Off-package sessions — trials, complimentary sessions — are booked with a reason attached, so free work shows up in reporting instead of vanishing.

Does it work outside India?

Yes. Currency, timezone and phone formats follow the studio's country. Card payments run through Stripe outside India and Razorpay inside it, and the apps are the same everywhere.
