A UAE gym with about 150 members pays between AED 180 and AED 1,300 a month for management software in 2026, before VAT and card fees. If you want a member app under your gym's name, most of that range disappears: only one platform with a published price gets you there for under AED 500 a month. ManageYourGym is AED 290 a month for 150 members ($79), with the app included, no setup fee and no contract.
Almost nobody in this market prices in dirhams. Most vendors publish in dollars, so we converted every published price at the dirham's fixed peg of AED 3.6725 to the dollar, read each one from the vendor's own pricing page on 19 October 2026, and priced the same 150-member gym on each. We're one of the vendors on the list, so we've shown the arithmetic. Check it.
Why are gym software prices in dollars, not dirhams?
Because most of the platforms UAE gyms shortlist are built somewhere else and sell in one currency worldwide. Of the eleven vendors below, one bills gyms in AED (Gymciety, built in Dubai), one prices in euros (PerfectGym), GymViz publishes none, and the rest show dollars.
It costs you less than it sounds. The dirham has been pegged to the US dollar at 3.6725 since 1997, so a $79 plan is AED 290 this month and it'll be AED 290 next year. What does change is your card bank's foreign transaction fee if you pay a dollar invoice on a dirham card. Ask the vendor whether it can charge you in AED, or pay from a USD account if you have one.

Read from each vendor's own pricing page on 19 Oct 2026, monthly billing. Dollar prices converted at AED 3.6725 and rounded to the nearest dirham. Gymciety is the only one billing gyms in AED; PerfectGym prices in euros and doesn't state the billing period. GymViz's site shows no prices; its comparison pages, read on 15 Oct, quoted "USD 99-249/month" (AED 364–914) without naming tiers. TeamUp only shows the 101–200 tier. We left out GymWyse (its domain now redirects to a for-sale page) and Okfit (its pricing page didn't load today), rather than guess.
Yearly billing lowers most of these. Ours is AED 2,751 a year on Starter, which works out to AED 229 a month. Gymciety's yearly gym plans save about 17%, Arbox's about 20%, and GymMaster and WellnessLiving take 10% off. Glofox, Momence, bsport, FitnessForce and Virtuagym publish no prices at all, which is why they're not in the table. Our UAE software roundup covers Glofox and FitnessForce, and the Momence, bsport and Virtuagym posts cover the rest.
Can you get gym software for under AED 500 a month?
Yes, easily, if all you want is the software. For a 150-member gym, these plans are under AED 500 a month:
- ManageYourGym Starter, AED 290: 150 members, 10 trainers, one branch, member app under your name included.
- WellnessLiving Starter, AED 253: one staff login, so it suits a solo owner, not a gym with a front desk and trainers. No white-label app.
- Arbox Basic, AED 180, or Standard, AED 474: Basic stops at 20 sessions a week, which a gym timetable passes quickly. Neither includes Arbox's branded app.
- GymRoute Excel, Mindbody Starter and Zen Planner Studio, each about AED 364: GymRoute and Zen Planner sell the own-name app as an add-on (Zen Planner's takes it to AED 507), and Mindbody's Starter plan has no branded app.
- GymMaster Advanced, AED 474: covers 400 members, but its branded app is AED 551 a month more, plus AED 1,653 to set up.
Put the app back in and the list is one name long. A member app under your gym's name is the thing members actually see every day, so for most gyms it isn't optional. It's also where most of the extra cost on other platforms comes from.
What a 150-member gym pays in year one
Same gym on every platform: 150 members, one site, a member app under its own name, monthly billing. Subscription × 12, plus the app add-on and any setup fee. VAT and card fees are left out here because they're covered below.
| Platform | Plan used | AED a month | Year one (AED) | How we got there |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| ManageYourGym | Starter | 290 | 3,482 | $79 × 12. App included. Yearly billing: AED 2,751 |
| GymRoute | Excel | 364 + app | 4,363 + app | Branded app is a paid add-on with no published price |
| Mindbody | Starter, then a higher tier for the app | From 364 | From 4,363 + app | Starter has no branded app; the tiers that offer it are unpriced |
| Zen Planner | Studio + app | 507 | 6,082 | ($99 + $39) × 12; the real price moves with active members |
| Gymciety | Core | 699 | 8,388 + VAT | Billed in AED; yearly is AED 6,990. Includes a website |
| PushPress | Pro + app | 940 | 11,282 | ($159 + $97) × 12 |
| TeamUp | 101–200 active + app | 1,058 | 12,692 | ($189 + $99) × 12, if 101–200 people book that month |
| Arbox | Professional | 1,098 | 13,177 | The only Arbox plan with the branded app |
| GymMaster | Advanced + app | 1,025 | 13,948 | ($129 + $150) × 12 + $450 setup |
| WellnessLiving | BusinessPro | 1,282 | 15,380 | The plan with white-label. Its 80%-off-for-two-months offer, open to 31 Oct, makes year one AED 13,324 |
| PerfectGym | Studio + app | From €179 + app | Quote | App add-on and onboarding fee have no published price |
Monthly billing, prices read 19 Oct 2026 and converted at AED 3.6725. Not included anywhere: the Apple and Google developer accounts for an app in your own name (about AED 455 in year one on any platform), card processing and messaging.
Two honest notes on that table. Gymciety's AED 699 includes a website for your gym, which we don't build; we give you a public gym page instead. And if you don't want an app in your own name, GymRoute's flat AED 364 with unlimited members undercuts us once you pass 150 members on one site. Our GymRoute comparison and Gymciety comparison go through both row by row.
And at 400 members?
Growth is where the meters show up. Here's the monthly bill for a 400-member gym on one site, with the own-name app, wherever the vendor publishes enough to work it out.
| Platform | AED a month | What changed |
|---|---|---|
| ManageYourGym | 621 | Professional: 500 members, 3 branches, 30 trainers, app included |
| GymRoute | 364 + app | Same Excel plan; members are unlimited |
| PushPress | 940 | Same Pro plan; members are unlimited |
| GymMaster | 1,025 | Advanced still covers 400; app on top |
| Arbox | 1,098 | Professional, unchanged |
| Gymciety | 1,099 | Growth, up to 400 active members |
| WellnessLiving | 1,282 | BusinessPro, unchanged |
| TeamUp, Zen Planner | Not published | Both price by active customers; the tiers above 200 aren't on the page |
Monthly billing, 19 Oct 2026, AED 3.6725 to the dollar, before VAT.
Do UAE gym software prices include VAT?
Usually not, and it works differently depending on where the vendor is. A vendor registered in the UAE adds 5% VAT to its invoice: Gymciety's AED 699 becomes AED 733.95. A vendor based overseas normally doesn't charge UAE VAT, and a VAT-registered gym accounts for it itself under the reverse charge. If you're registered, you can normally recover that VAT either way, so it's a cash-flow line more than a cost. If you're not registered, it's a real 5%. Ask your accountant how to book it.
The VAT that matters more is on your own side. If you're registered (mandatory above AED 375,000 of taxable turnover a year), every membership needs a tax invoice with your TRN and the 5% shown in AED. ManageYourGym issues one for every payment, and a tax credit note when an invoice is cancelled. Our Dubai gym software page has the rest of the UAE specifics.
The fee that beats the software bill: card processing
Once members pay by card, processing usually costs more than the software. Stripe's published UAE rate is 2.9% + AED 1 per payment on a UAE card, with 1% more on international cards. Nomod's published rates start at 1.67%, for in-person card payments on its terminal, plus 5% VAT on its fees; ask it for the rate on online payments.
Take a gym collecting AED 45,000 a month across 150 card payments. At Stripe's domestic rate that's about AED 1,455 a month in fees, five times our Starter plan. That's why the question to ask every vendor is whose merchant account the money lands in. Some platforms process payments themselves at their own rate. On ManageYourGym, members pay through your own Stripe or Nomod account, so you get the processor's published rate (or the rate you negotiate) and the money settles straight to you.
What to ask before you sign
- Can you invoice me in AED, and will the invoice carry UAE VAT or come under the reverse charge?
- What's the meter: members, active members, sessions, staff or locations? How are frozen members counted?
- Is the member app published under my gym's name, what does it cost a month, and is there a setup fee?
- Whose merchant account do card payments land in, and at what rate for UAE and international cards?
- Will every membership payment produce a tax invoice with my TRN on it?
- What does a second branch cost, and is there a minimum term or notice period?
Frequently asked questions
How much does gym management software cost in the UAE?
For a single gym, published plans run from free (Arbox, PushPress) to about AED 1,600 a month, and most 150-member gyms pay AED 180 to AED 1,300, read from vendor pages on 19 October 2026. ManageYourGym is AED 290, 621 or 1,282 a month ($79, $169 or $349). Add VAT, card fees and the app add-on before comparing.
Is there gym software in the UAE for under AED 500 a month?
Yes. ManageYourGym Starter (AED 290), WellnessLiving Starter (AED 253, one staff login), Arbox Basic and Standard (AED 180 and 474), and GymRoute, Mindbody and Zen Planner entry plans (about AED 364) all come in under it. With an app under your gym's name included, ManageYourGym is the only one.
Which gym software vendors show prices in AED?
Gymciety bills gyms in AED: Core is AED 699 a month for 150 active members, plus VAT. Almost every other vendor publishes in US dollars. Because the dirham is pegged at 3.6725, a dollar price converts to the same AED figure every month.
Do I pay VAT on gym software in the UAE?
A UAE-based vendor adds 5% VAT to its invoice. With an overseas vendor, a VAT-registered gym usually accounts for the VAT itself under the reverse charge. A registered gym can normally recover it either way; check with your accountant.
Does gym software in the UAE charge a setup fee?
Most published plans don't. GymMaster charges AED 1,653 to set up its branded app, and PerfectGym has a one-off onboarding fee on every plan with no published amount. ManageYourGym, Gymciety, TeamUp and Mindbody state no onboarding fee.
If you're comparing quotes, send us yours. We'll put it next to ours in AED, for your member count and branches, with the app, VAT and card fees counted in. See the plans, read the full pricing guide in dollars, or book a demo below.
