Momence Alternatives (2026): What to Switch To, and How to Leave

Momence doesn't publish a price, and the owners who complain about it point to the quote, the support or the billing after they cancel. Here are the alternatives for each reason, with every price read from the vendor's own page this month, one reformer studio priced through all of them, and a checklist for getting your clients, packs and bookings out first.

By Pranat Sharma

The studio owners who complain about Momence tend to land on the same three things: they can't see a price before the sales call, support is slow when something breaks, and charges keep coming after they've tried to leave. If that's you, ManageYourGym is the alternative we'd point you to. Every price is on the page ($79, $169 or $349 a month), you can cancel anytime, a member app under your studio's own name comes with every plan, and we move your data for you.

Below are six more Momence alternatives — Arbox, bsport, Glofox, Mindbody, TeamUp and WellnessLiving — grouped by the reason you're leaving. Every price was read from the vendor's own pricing page on 9 October 2026. After that there's one reformer studio priced on each platform, and a checklist for getting your clients, packs and bookings out of Momence before you give notice.

What does Momence cost in 2026?

Momence doesn't publish a price. We checked its pricing page on 9 October 2026. It has no plans and no numbers, just a note that every business is different and a form to book a demo, after which they "put together pricing that fits".

Older plan names and percentages still circulate on blogs and directory sites. They aren't on Momence's own page, so we haven't used them here. If you're on Momence today, your invoice is the only number that counts. Pull the last three and add up the subscription, the processing fees and anything else on the line items. That total is what you're comparing against.

What Momence customers say

On Trustpilot, Momence scored 4.2 out of 5 from 419 reviews when we checked on 9 October 2026. That's a decent score, but the page mixes two kinds of reviewer: studio owners, and the clients who book through Momence. The one-star reviews we read, from April to September 2026, were all from owners. On Capterra, where the reviewers are businesses, Momence sits at 3.9 out of 5, and customer service is its lowest-rated area at 3.7.

Those owner reviews repeat the same few things:

  • Slow support. One owner described being passed between reps and asked for the same details again and again.
  • Charges that kept coming after the owner asked to cancel, plus fees they say they never knowingly agreed to.
  • Bookings and payments that didn't line up, such as clients who paid for a course but never showed up on the roster.
  • Messages to leads that didn't arrive, from owners who rely on Momence's inbox to follow up.

Plenty of studios run happily on Momence. It does a lot, especially for workshops, retreats and on-demand classes. But if you're reading this, something on that list has probably happened to you. The rest of this post is organised around price, support and billing, and the roster and inbox problems belong under support: they're only fatal when nobody fixes them quickly.

If you want a price you can see

This is the easiest problem to fix, because several platforms publish their prices. Don't stop at the headline number. Look at what the price counts — members, sessions, active clients, staff or locations — because that's what moves you up a tier as you grow.

PlatformPublished price (USD/mo, monthly)What it countsOwn-name member app
ManageYourGymStarter $79, Professional $169, Enterprise $349Members (150 / 500 / unlimited), plus branches and trainersIncluded on every plan

Read from each vendor's pricing page on 9 Oct 2026, monthly billing. Annual rates where shown: Arbox $39/$99/$239; WellnessLiving $62/$179/$314. WellnessLiving is running an 80%-off-for-two-months offer on annual Business and BusinessPro until 16 Oct 2026; the table shows regular prices. Card processing is extra on every platform.

What one reformer studio pays on each

A price list only tells you so much until you put a real studio through it. So take a typical Dubai reformer studio: one location, eight reformers, about 180 active clients on memberships, class packs and a first-week intro offer, and a booking app under its own name. Here's its monthly bill on every platform that publishes a price.

PlatformMonthly, with an own-name appHow we got there
ManageYourGym$169 (about AED 621)Professional covers 500 members; member and trainer apps included
TeamUp$288$189 for 101–200 active customers plus the $99 app
Arbox$299Professional is the tier with the branded app
WellnessLiving$349BusinessPro is the tier with the white-label app
MindbodyFrom $99 plus the appStarter per location; app and upper tiers not published
Momence, Glofox, bsportQuoteNo published price

A studio this size is above our Starter limit of 150 members, so Professional is the fair comparison. Under 150 members, the ManageYourGym figure is $79. AED at the fixed rate of 3.6725 to the dollar.

If you keep getting billed after you leave

This is the complaint that does the most damage, so deal with it first. Before you sign anywhere new, find your Momence agreement and write down three things: the term, the renewal date and the notice it asks for. Then send your cancellation by email, keep the reply, and check your next two card statements. If a charge turns up after the date they confirmed, you have it in writing.

When you choose the next platform, pick one whose terms are on its website rather than buried in a contract. Here's what each one says publicly:

  • ManageYourGym: monthly or yearly, cancel anytime, no setup fee, and a 14-day trial with no card.
  • TeamUp: month-to-month, no setup fee, and cancel at any time without penalties.
  • Mindbody: no onboarding fee, but the contract "depends on the specific plan and billing terms", and cancelling may need advance notice.
  • Arbox and WellnessLiving: monthly and annual billing on the page, but no contract length. Ask for it in writing.
  • Glofox and bsport: quote only, with no terms published. bsport mentions a free first period "built into the start of their contract", so ask how long that contract runs.

If you want support that answers

You can't judge support from a pricing page, so judge it by what each vendor is willing to put in writing. Ask every one of them where support happens (email, chat or WhatsApp), what hours it covers in your time zone, and who you'll actually talk to during the move.

Here's ours. Starter gets email support. Professional adds priority WhatsApp support and an onboarding call. Enterprise gets a dedicated WhatsApp group, an account manager and training for your staff. For a studio in Dubai, WhatsApp is usually the quickest way to reach a real person, and that's why the paid tiers run on it.

What each alternative is built around

  • Arbox: gyms and studios, priced by sessions per week, with a free plan for a very small timetable.
  • bsport: a French platform for boutique studios, five plans from Start to Scale, all by quote.
  • Glofox: studios and gyms on one booking app, now owned by ABC Fitness, priced by quote. Our Glofox alternatives post covers it.
  • ManageYourGym: studios, gyms and PT businesses on one plan, with reformer spot booking, class packs, intro offers, PT balances, trainer pay and a member app under your own name on every tier. From $79 a month.
  • Mindbody: studios that want its consumer marketplace, which takes 20% of a new client's first purchase, capped at $30. Our Mindbody alternatives post has the details.
  • TeamUp: class and appointment studios, priced by active customers, month to month.
  • WellnessLiving: studios and spas, with a white-label app on its top tier and two-way texting as a pay-per-use extra.

ManageYourGym — if you want all three fixed

We built ManageYourGym for studios that sell memberships, class packs, intro offers and private sessions all in one place. Clients book a specific reformer from a map of your room, so two people can never land on the same machine and a class never takes more bookings than you have reformers. When it's full, the waitlist fills the spot from the next person in line. Class packs expire after the number of days you set, and the credit goes back when someone cancels before your cutoff. Waivers get signed in the app before the first class. See how it's set up for Pilates studios or for boutique studios.

Clients book and pay in an app published under your studio's name and icon, in your colours, on the App Store and Google Play. It's included on every plan, not sold as an add-on (here's how the branded app works). Cards go through Stripe or Nomod and settle to your own account, and renewal reminders go out on WhatsApp. In the UAE, VAT-registered studios get tax invoices in AED with their TRN. And every tier is on the pricing page: $79 for 150 members at one location, $169 for 500 across three, $349 for unlimited.

We move everything for you — members, plans, balances and history. You can keep Momence running alongside us until you're sure.

Leaving Momence: a switching checklist

  • Find your agreement. Write down the term, the renewal date and the notice period, and put the last day to give notice in your calendar.
  • Export your customer list and sales history before you give notice, while the account is fully live. Pull every report you can as a spreadsheet, and save copies somewhere outside Momence.
  • Write down what the exports miss: pack credits each client has left, intro offers in progress, paused memberships and their return dates, and any credit on account. These are what clients argue about after a switch.
  • Save your timetable, upcoming bookings and any workshops or events already sold, plus each instructor's pay rate.
  • Keep signed waivers and intake forms as files. You may need them later.
  • If you sell on-demand videos through Momence, download your files first. The links clients bought will stop working when the account closes.
  • Plan for cards. Saved cards usually can't move from one payment processor to another, so clients will add their card again in the new app. Tell them why before they're asked.
  • Pick a switch date at the end of a billing month, and not the week before a big intro-offer push.
  • Cancel in writing, keep the confirmation, and check your card statement for the next two months.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Momence cost?

Momence doesn't publish its prices. Its pricing page (read 9 October 2026) has a demo form and says pricing is put together for each business. Figures you see on blogs and directories aren't from Momence. Ask for a written quote that covers the subscription, processing fees, any fees your clients pay and the contract term.

Is there a Momence alternative with a branded app included?

Yes. ManageYourGym includes a member app under your studio's own name on every plan, from $79 a month. Elsewhere it's a higher tier or an add-on: Arbox Professional ($299), WellnessLiving BusinessPro ($349), TeamUp ($99 a month extra) and Mindbody (an add-on with no published price).

Can I cancel Momence at any time?

That depends on your agreement, which Momence doesn't publish. Check the term, renewal date and notice period, cancel in writing, and keep the confirmation. Owners on Trustpilot have reported charges after cancelling, so check your card statement for the next two months.

What is the best Momence alternative for a reformer Pilates studio?

Look for spot booking (clients pick a specific reformer), class sizes capped at your machine count, expiring class packs and intro offers. ManageYourGym does all four on every plan. For a studio with up to 500 clients, Professional is $169 a month with the branded app included.

Can my clients keep their saved cards when I switch?

Usually not. Saved cards sit with the payment processor, and processors rarely hand them over to another one. Plan for clients to add a card in the new app, and tell them before switch day so it isn't a surprise.

Spot booking, class packs and your own app, at a published price

Clients book a specific reformer, classes cap at your machine count, packs expire on your terms, and a member app under your studio's name comes with every plan — $79, $169 or $349 a month, cancel anytime. We move your data for you.
