Most owners who look for WellnessLiving alternatives aren't unhappy with the software on day one. They're unhappy a year in, when the bill has climbed a tier or two: one more instructor needed a login, the app had to carry the studio's own name, or a second location opened. If that's where you are, ManageYourGym is the alternative we'd point you to. A member app under your own name comes with every plan, up to three locations fit on one $169 plan, every price is on the page ($79, $169 or $349 a month), and we move your data for you.
Below are five more WellnessLiving alternatives — Arbox, Glofox, Mindbody, Momence and TeamUp — grouped by the reason you're leaving. Every price was read from the vendor's own pricing page on 10 October 2026. After that, one studio is priced on each platform, and there's a checklist for getting your clients and packages out before you give notice. If you only want the head-to-head, see ManageYourGym vs WellnessLiving.
What does WellnessLiving cost in 2026?
Unlike a lot of studio software, WellnessLiving publishes its prices. Here they are, from its pricing page on 10 October 2026:
| Plan | Monthly | Billed yearly | What you get |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $69 | $62/mo | One staff member, one location, unlimited clients |
| Business | $199 | $179/mo | Unlimited staff, one location |
| BusinessPro | $349 | $314/mo | Includes the white-label client app, still one location |
| Enterprise | Quote | Quote | More than one location |
WellnessLiving is running 80% off the first two months until 16 Oct 2026. We've shown the regular prices, because that's what you'll pay from month three. The white-label app is an add-on on Starter and Business, with no price shown. API access is $19/mo on any plan. The custom website and the CAASI AI front desk are sold as extras.
Look at what moves you between tiers. Starter is $69, but it's one person. The day a second instructor needs to log in, you're on Business at $199. The day you want clients to book in an app with your studio's name on it, it's BusinessPro at $349, where the app is included, or an add-on on a lower tier at a price the page doesn't show. And a second location means Enterprise, which has no published price. None of that is hidden. It's just easy to miss when you sign up small.
What WellnessLiving customers say
WellnessLiving does well on business review sites. On Capterra it sits around 4.4 out of 5 from several hundred reviews, and owners like how much it covers. On Trustpilot it's a different picture: 2.3 out of 5 when we checked on 10 October 2026, though from only 11 reviews. The complaints there, all from 2026, repeat a few things:
- Renewals owners didn't expect. One describes being told they'd already been rolled into another 12-month contract.
- Charges after cancelling. Another owner says they were still being billed three months after an end date was confirmed by email.
- Support that was quick during the sale and slow after it.
- A bill that kept rising, in one case to over £400 a month.
Eleven reviews isn't a verdict, and plenty of studios run happily on WellnessLiving. It does more than most, including retail, video classes and an AI agent that answers your phone. But if you're reading this, something on that list has probably happened to you. The rest of this post takes the tiers, the contract and the support in turn.
If the next tier keeps costing you more
This is the one most worth fixing, because it gets worse as you grow. When you compare, don't stop at the headline number. Check what the price counts. Some platforms count staff, some count locations, some count active clients or weekly classes. Whatever it counts is what pushes you up a tier.
| Platform | Published price (USD/mo, monthly) | What it counts | Own-name member app |
|---|---|---|---|
| ManageYourGym | Starter $79, Professional $169, Enterprise $349 | Members (150 / 500 / unlimited), plus branches and trainers | Included on every plan |
| WellnessLiving | Starter $69, Business $199, BusinessPro $349 | Staff, locations and features | Included on BusinessPro; unpriced add-on below |
| Arbox | Free, Basic $49, Standard $129, Professional $299 | Weekly sessions (Free 5, Basic 20, Standard and up unlimited) | Professional only |
| TeamUp | $189 at 101–200 active customers | Clients who book or buy in a month | $99/mo add-on |
| Mindbody | Starter from $99 per location; Accelerate and Ultimate by quote | Locations | Add-on, price not published |
| Glofox, Momence | Quote only | Not published | Not published |
Read from each vendor's pricing page on 10 Oct 2026, monthly billing. Annual rates where shown: WellnessLiving $62/$179/$314; Arbox $39/$99/$239. Mindbody's FAQ also mentions a lower $79 Starter rate in North America and Asia. Card processing is extra on every platform.
What one studio pays on each
Prices only mean something once you run a real studio through them. Take a boutique studio in Dubai: one location, four instructors, about 180 active clients on memberships and class packs. Here's its monthly bill on every platform with a published price, first with a booking app under its own name, then without one.
| Platform | With an own-name app | Without one | How we got there |
|---|---|---|---|
| ManageYourGym | $169 (about AED 621) | $169 | Professional covers 500 members and 30 trainers; the app is always included |
| WellnessLiving | $349 | $199 | Four instructors rule out Starter; the app is included on BusinessPro (or $199 plus an unpriced add-on) |
| TeamUp | $288 | $189 | $189 for 101–200 active customers, plus $99 for the app |
| Arbox | $299 | $129 | Standard has unlimited sessions; the app needs Professional |
| Mindbody | From $99 plus the app | From $99 | Starter per location; the app add-on has no published price |
| Glofox, Momence | Quote | Quote | No published price |
180 clients is above our Starter limit of 150, so Professional is the fair comparison. A studio under 150 pays $79 with us, app included. AED at the fixed rate of 3.6725 to the dollar.
Without an app, Arbox Standard at $129 is the cheapest fixed price here (Mindbody's Starter starts at $99 a location, before add-ons). Once the studio wants its own app, which most boutique studios in Dubai do, ManageYourGym costs less than half what WellnessLiving charges for the same studio.
If you got renewed when you meant to leave
Deal with this before anything else. Find your WellnessLiving agreement and write down three things: the term, the renewal date and the notice it asks for. Put the last day to give notice in your calendar. Then cancel by email, keep the reply, and check your card statement for the next two months.
When you choose the next platform, pick one whose terms are on its website, not just in the contract. Here's what each says publicly:
- ManageYourGym: monthly or yearly, cancel anytime, and a free trial with no card.
- TeamUp: month-to-month, no setup fee, no long-term contract.
- Mindbody: cancellation terms depend on your agreement.
- Arbox: monthly and annual billing on the page, no contract length. Ask for it in writing.
- Glofox and Momence: quote only, no terms published.
If support went quiet after you signed
You can't test support from a pricing page, so judge it by what a vendor puts in writing. Ask each one where support happens (email, chat or WhatsApp), what hours it covers in your time zone, and who you'll talk to while you move.
Here's ours. Starter gets email support. Professional adds priority WhatsApp support and an onboarding call. Enterprise gets a dedicated WhatsApp group, an account manager and training for your staff. In Dubai, WhatsApp is usually the fastest way to reach a real person, so that's where the paid tiers live.
What each alternative is built around
- Arbox: gyms and studios, priced by how many sessions you run a week, with a free plan for a very small timetable.
- Glofox: studios and gyms on one booking app, owned by ABC Fitness, priced by quote. Our Glofox alternatives post covers it.
- ManageYourGym: studios, gyms and PT businesses on one plan, with reformer spot booking, class packs, intro offers, PT packages, trainer pay and a member app under your own name on every tier. From $79 a month.
- Mindbody: studios that want its consumer marketplace, which takes 20% of a new client's first purchase, capped at $30. Our Mindbody alternatives post has the details.
- Momence: boutique and wellness studios that run workshops, retreats and on-demand classes, priced by quote. See Momence alternatives.
- TeamUp: class and appointment studios, priced by active clients, month to month, with retail and gift cards included.
ManageYourGym — if you want all three fixed
We built ManageYourGym for studios and gyms that sell memberships, class packs, intro offers and private sessions in one place. Classes have capacity limits and waitlists. Reformer studios can let clients pick a specific machine from a map of the room. Class packs expire after the number of days you set, and the credit comes back when someone cancels before your cutoff. Instructors get their own app with the day's classes and sessions, and you can pay them a salary, a rate per class or a share of what they sell. See how it's set up for boutique studios or for Pilates studios.
Clients book and pay in an app published under your studio's name and icon, on the App Store and Google Play. It's on every plan, not a top tier (here's how the branded app works). Cards go through Stripe or Nomod and settle to your own account, and renewal reminders go out on WhatsApp. In the UAE, VAT-registered studios get tax invoices in AED with their TRN. Every tier is on the pricing page: $79 for 150 members at one location, $169 for 500 across three, $349 for unlimited.
There are things WellnessLiving does that we don't. We don't sell retail or gift cards, we don't stream classes, and we don't have an AI agent answering your phone. If any of those is central to your studio, weigh that honestly. For most studios that came to WellnessLiving for booking, packs and an app, it isn't.
We move everything for you — members, plans, balances and history. You can keep WellnessLiving running alongside us until you're sure.
Leaving WellnessLiving: a switching checklist
- Find your agreement. Write down the term, the renewal date and the notice period, and put the last day to give notice in your calendar.
- Export your client list, packages and sales history before you give notice, while the account is fully live. Save copies somewhere outside WellnessLiving.
- Write down what the exports miss: pack credits each client has left, intro offers in progress, paused memberships and their return dates, and any credit on account.
- Save your timetable, upcoming bookings and any events already sold, plus each instructor's pay rate.
- Keep signed waivers and intake forms as files.
- If you sell video classes through WellnessLiving, download your files first. Links clients paid for will stop working when the account closes.
- Plan for payments. Card details usually can't move from one payment processor to another, so tell clients before switch day that they'll pay their next renewal in the new app.
- Pick a switch date at the end of a billing month, not the week before a big intro-offer push.
- Cancel in writing, keep the confirmation, and check your card statement for the next two months.

Frequently asked questions
How much does WellnessLiving cost?
On 10 October 2026 its pricing page listed Starter at $69 a month, Business at $199 and BusinessPro at $349, or $62, $179 and $314 a month billed yearly. Enterprise, for more than one location, is priced by quote. Starter allows one staff member, and the white-label app is included from BusinessPro.
Which WellnessLiving plan has a branded app?
It's included on BusinessPro ($349 a month). On Starter and Business it's an add-on, and the pricing page doesn't show its price. ManageYourGym includes an app under your studio's own name on every plan, from $79.
Is there a cheaper alternative to WellnessLiving?
For a studio with a team or its own app, yes. A four-instructor studio with 180 clients and its own app pays $349 on WellnessLiving and $169 on ManageYourGym. For a solo instructor with no need for a branded app, WellnessLiving Starter at $69 is cheaper than ours.
Can I cancel WellnessLiving at any time?
Its pricing page says you can change plans at any time, but it doesn't publish a contract length. Owners on Trustpilot describe being renewed into a new 12-month term. Check your agreement for the term and notice period, cancel in writing, and keep the confirmation.
What does WellnessLiving do that ManageYourGym doesn't?
Retail and gift cards at the desk, live and on-demand video, a full custom website, an AI agent that answers calls and chats, and a longer list of integrations. Our side-by-side comparison page lists every row, including the ones they win.
