Gyms and studios leave Glofox for one of three reasons: they can't see what they're paying for, they can't get out of the agreement when they want to, or they can't get support when payments break. The right alternative depends on which one is yours. If it's all three, ManageYourGym publishes every price ($79, $169 or $349 a month), lets you cancel anytime, includes a member app under your own name on every plan, and moves your data for you.
Below are seven other alternatives — Arbox, GymMaster, Mindbody, Momence, PushPress, TeamUp and WellnessLiving — sorted by the reason you're leaving, with every price read from the vendor's own pricing page on 2 October 2026. Then a checklist for getting your members, packs and history out of Glofox before you give notice.
What does Glofox cost in 2026?
Glofox doesn't say. Its pricing page, read on 2 October 2026, is a form that asks for your business type, number of locations and contact details. There are no plan names or numbers on it. Directory sites print figures for Glofox, but they aren't from Glofox and we haven't used them.
Glofox has been part of ABC Fitness, the US gym-software group, since August 2022.
What Glofox customers say
On Trustpilot, ABC Glofox scored 3.6 out of 5 from 399 reviews when we checked on 2 October 2026. The recent negative reviews repeat four themes:
- Support that is slow to answer, and hard to reach when something urgent breaks — failed payments in particular.
- Outages in payment processing, with little word on when they would be fixed.
- Sales calls that offered one price rather than explaining the options.
- Charges that carried on after the owner tried to cancel.
None of that means Glofox is a bad product. Plenty of studios run happily on its booking and branded app. But if you're reading this, one of those four has probably happened to you, so the sections below are built around them.
If you want a price you can see
This is the easiest one to fix, because several platforms publish real ladders. The useful question isn't the headline number, it's what the price counts — members, sessions, staff, active customers or locations — because that's what pushes you up a tier.
| Platform | Published price (USD/mo, monthly) | What it counts | Own-name member app |
|---|---|---|---|
| ManageYourGym | Starter $79, Professional $169, Enterprise $349 | Members, branches, trainers (150 / 500 / unlimited) | Included on every plan |
| Arbox | Free, Basic $49, Standard $129, Professional $299 | Weekly sessions (5 / 20 / unlimited) | On Professional |
| GymMaster | Foundation $89, Advanced $129, Professional $209 | Members per site (100 / 400 / 1,300) | $150/mo plus $450 setup |
| Mindbody | Starter from $99 per location; Accelerate and Ultimate by quote | Locations | Priced separately, not published |
| Momence | Quote only | Not published | Not published |
| PushPress | Free, Pro $159, Max $229 | Unlimited members and staff | $81–$97/mo add-on |
| TeamUp | $189 at 101–200 active customers | Active customers a month | $99/mo add-on |
| WellnessLiving | Starter $69, Business $199, BusinessPro $349 | Staff (1 on Starter, then unlimited) | White-label app on BusinessPro |
Read from each vendor's pricing page on 2 Oct 2026, monthly billing. Annual rates where shown: Arbox $39/$99/$239; WellnessLiving $62/$179/$314; GymMaster 10% off. WellnessLiving was running an 80%-off-for-two-months offer ending 16 Oct 2026; the table shows regular prices. Card processing is extra on every platform.
What one studio pays on each
Prices only mean something on a real business. Take one studio: a single location, 180 active members on memberships and class packs, a full timetable, and a member app under its own name. Here's the monthly bill on each published price.
| Platform | Monthly, with an own-name app | How we got there |
|---|---|---|
| ManageYourGym | $169 | Professional covers 500 members; member and trainer apps included |
| PushPress | $240–$256 | Pro $159 plus the $81–$97 branded app |
| GymMaster | $279, plus $450 setup | Advanced $129 (up to 400 members) plus the $150 app |
| TeamUp | $288 | $189 for 101–200 active customers plus the $99 app |
| Arbox | $299 | Professional is the tier with the branded app |
| WellnessLiving | $349 | BusinessPro is the tier with the white-label app |
| Mindbody | From $99 plus the app | Starter per location; app and upper tiers not published |
| Glofox, Momence | Quote | No published price |
A studio this size sits above our Starter cap of 150 members, so Professional is the honest comparison. Under 150 members, the ManageYourGym figure is $79.
If you want out of a contract
Glofox doesn't publish its terms, so start with your own agreement: the term, the renewal date and how much notice it asks for. Reviewers describe annual agreements and charges after cancelling, which is exactly why you read it before anything else.
Then pick a platform whose terms are on the page, not in the contract. Here's what each one says publicly:
- ManageYourGym: monthly or yearly, cancel anytime, no setup fee, and a 14-day trial without a card.
- GymMaster: no lock-in on any plan and a 60-day money-back guarantee.
- TeamUp: month-to-month, no setup fee, cancel anytime without penalty.
- WellnessLiving: month-to-month billing.
- Mindbody: "depends on your plan and billing terms", and cancelling may need advance notice under your agreement.
- Arbox, PushPress and Momence: no contract terms on the pricing page — ask for them in writing before you sign.
If you want support that answers
Support is the hardest thing to judge from a pricing page, so judge it by what's written down. Ask every vendor three things: where support happens (email, chat or WhatsApp), what hours it covers in your time zone, and who you talk to during the switch itself.
Ours, as it stands: email support on Starter; priority WhatsApp support and an onboarding call on Professional; a dedicated WhatsApp group, an account manager and staff training on Enterprise. For a gym in Dubai or a studio in London, WhatsApp is usually the quickest way to reach a human, which is why the paid tiers run on it. GymMaster lists phone and email support from real people on every plan.
What each alternative is built around
- Arbox: gyms and studios, priced by sessions per week, with a free plan for a very small timetable.
- GymMaster: gym software sold alongside its own door-access hardware, from $129 a month with access. Our GymMaster comparison goes through it.
- ManageYourGym: gyms, studios and PT businesses on one plan — classes, packs, PT balances, trainer pay and a member app under your own name on every tier, from $79 a month.
- Mindbody: studios that want its consumer marketplace, which charges 20% of a new client's first purchase, capped at $30. Our Mindbody alternatives post has the detail.
- Momence: boutique and wellness businesses, events and workshops, priced by quote.
- PushPress: CrossFit boxes and functional gyms, with a free tier and paid add-ons.
- TeamUp: class and appointment studios, priced by active customers, with unlimited locations.
- WellnessLiving: studios and spas, with email and text marketing and lead management from the Business tier up.
ManageYourGym — if you want all three fixed at once
We built ManageYourGym for gyms and studios that sell memberships, class packs and personal training under one roof. Classes have capacity limits and automatic waitlists. Class packs expire after the days you set, and a credit comes back when a member cancels before the cutoff. PT packages carry a live session balance the trainer and the client both see, and trainers get their own app with their day and their pay. See how it's set up for boutique studios or for Pilates studios.
Members pay in an app published under your studio's name and icon, in your colours, on the App Store and Google Play — included on every plan, not an add-on. Members pay by card through Stripe or Nomod, settled to your own account. Renewal and dues reminders go out on WhatsApp. And every tier is on the pricing page: $79 for 150 members at one location, $169 for 500 members across three, $349 for unlimited. In the UAE, VAT-registered gyms get tax invoices in AED with their TRN — the UAE roundup covers what else to check there.
We move everything for you — members, plans, balances and history. You can keep Glofox running alongside until you're sure.
Leaving Glofox: a switching checklist
- Read your agreement. Write down the term, the renewal date and the notice period, and put the last notice date in your calendar.
- Export your members before you give notice, while the account is fully live. Glofox's help centre describes a downloadable Members report (name, email, membership, plan, status and end date) and a Transactions List report.
- Export what the reports miss: class pack credits left, PT sessions left, frozen memberships and their return dates, and any credit on account. These are what members argue about after a switch.
- Save your future bookings and recurring class schedule, plus each instructor's pay rates.
- Keep signed waivers and intake forms as files. You may need them later.
- Plan for cards. Saved cards usually can't move from one payment processor to another, so members will add a card again in the new app. Tell them why before they're asked.
- Pick the switch date: the end of a billing month, and not the first week of January.
- Send members the new app link the day you switch, and keep the old login for read-only lookups until the notice period ends.

Frequently asked questions
How much does Glofox cost?
Glofox doesn't publish its prices. Its pricing page (read 2 October 2026) is a quote form that asks for your business type and number of locations. Figures on directory sites don't come from Glofox, so ask for a written quote that includes the branded app, processing fees and the contract term.
Who owns Glofox?
ABC Fitness Solutions, the US gym-software company, completed its acquisition of Glofox in August 2022. The product is now sold as ABC Glofox.
Can I cancel Glofox at any time?
That depends on your agreement, which Glofox doesn't publish. Check the term, renewal date and notice period before you plan a switch, and export your member and transaction reports before you give notice.
What is the best Glofox alternative with a branded app included?
ManageYourGym includes a member app under your studio's own name on every plan, from $79 a month. Elsewhere it's a higher tier or an add-on: Arbox Professional ($299), WellnessLiving BusinessPro ($349), TeamUp ($99 a month extra), PushPress ($81–$97 extra) and GymMaster ($150 a month plus $450 setup).
Can my members keep their saved cards when I switch?
Usually not. Saved cards sit with the payment processor, and processors rarely hand them to another. Plan for members to add a card in the new app, and tell them before the switch day so it isn't a surprise.
