Mindbody is a demand channel as much as a management system: its consumer app puts your classes in front of people who have never heard of you, and nothing we do replaces that. We are the better fit if you already have your members and want the software to cost less, tell you its price up front, and go deeper on personal training than on marketing.

The problem you are actually trying to solve
You are paying for software that does more than you use, the invoice went up again this year, and the parts your front desk actually touches are buried three menus deep. Every time you ask what the next tier costs, you get a call booked instead of a number.
At the same time you are nervous about leaving, because some of your bookings genuinely come through the app your members already have on their phone — and it is hard to work out how many.

The honest headline is that we are cheaper at the entry point — $79 against $99 per location — and that we publish every tier while Mindbody publishes only its first. Accelerate and Ultimate are quote-only, which means the number you eventually pay is a negotiation rather than a price list, and the widely reported pattern is that it rises at renewal. There is one place they clearly win, and it is worth naming: their tiers are priced per location without a published member cap, while ours step up with member count. A 2,000-member single site is $349 with us on Enterprise and could start from $99 with them. Read that carefully though — their Starter tier is their thinnest, and what a 2,000-member gym actually needs is unlikely to sit on it. On top of the subscription both sides carry payment processing costs; the difference is that ours run through your own Razorpay or Stripe account at your own rate, and we take nothing from them. Their text messaging is billed per transaction too.

When Mindbody is the better choice
Every comparison page ever written says the author wins. Here is where we honestly do not.
The marketplace is where your members come from
If a real share of your bookings arrive through the Mindbody consumer app, leaving costs you that channel on day one. We have nothing equivalent and no plan to build it. Look at how many of last month’s new members came in that way before you move.
You are a chain, a franchise or a wellness group
Mindbody runs at a scale we do not, and covers salon, spa and wellness verticals alongside fitness. If your business is several of those at once, they are built for it and we are not.
You depend on a wide integration ecosystem
They list over a hundred integrations. We connect to Razorpay, Stripe, WhatsApp, SMS and email, and that is the list. If your operation is stitched together through a dozen tools, check ours covers them before switching.
You have far more members than our tiers hold
Our plans step up with member count and theirs do not. Past a couple of thousand members on one site, their per-location pricing may simply be cheaper than our Enterprise tier.
Questions people ask
Is ManageYourGym cheaper than Mindbody?
At the entry point, yes — $79 a month against Mindbody’s Starter from $99 per location, and our branded app is included where theirs is a paid add-on. Above that it is genuinely hard to say, because Mindbody does not publish its Accelerate and Ultimate prices. What we can say is that all three of our tiers are printed on our pricing page.
Will I lose bookings if I leave Mindbody?
Possibly, and this is the one question that matters most. Mindbody runs a consumer marketplace that sends real traffic to listed businesses, and we have no equivalent. Check how many of your recent members found you that way. If it is a meaningful share, the saving on software will not cover it.
Do you have a consumer app people search in?
No. Our member app is for your existing members — check-in, dues, plans, classes and PT sessions. It does not put your gym in front of strangers. That is a real gap against Mindbody and we are not going to dress it up.
What does ManageYourGym do better?
Personal training and the trainer side of the business. Three compensation models rather than a commission field, a session ledger, a native trainer app, and per-trainer payout reporting. Plus live occupancy, QR check-in with no hardware, and India-specific GST billing.
Do you take a cut of my payments?
No. You connect your own Razorpay or Stripe account and the money settles directly to you at whatever rate you have negotiated. We never touch it.
Can I run multiple locations?
Yes. Professional covers up to three branches with per-branch reporting, and Enterprise goes beyond that. The difference from Mindbody is that our branch count sits inside the plan rather than multiplying the subscription by location.
