Honest comparison

ManageYourGym vs GymForce

GymForce is cheaper and does not cap your member count, so if the deciding question is price per member they win it outright. We are the better fit when personal training is a real part of your revenue rather than a side line — three trainer compensation models, a native trainer app, and session tracking that survives an argument about how many sessions are left.

The problem you are actually trying to solve

You are comparing two Indian products that both promise the same list — members, attendance, WhatsApp reminders, GST bills — and the feature grids on both websites look identical. The difference only shows up three months in, when you are trying to work out what to pay a trainer who is on a revenue share, or why the member count in the report does not match the member count at the door.

Meanwhile the pricing is genuinely hard to compare, because the two products do not charge for the same thing. One meters members. The other meters messages.

Take the headline number first: GymForce is cheaper, and it is not close. Their Growth plan is ₹9,999 a year with unlimited active members, against ₹14,389 a year for our Starter, which stops at 150. Their Pro plan adds multi-branch and payroll for ₹14,999 — roughly what our single-branch Starter costs — where multi-branch on our side means Professional at ₹23,990. If cost per member is the question you are actually asking, stop reading and buy GymForce. What the two prices do not tell you is that the products meter different things. They meter messaging credits, 1,000 on Growth and 5,000 on Pro, so a gym that runs heavy WhatsApp reminders will meet a ceiling their sticker price does not show. We meter members, so the ceiling arrives when you sign your 151st. Neither meter is dishonest; they just bite different gyms. Both bill annually and both run a 14-day trial with no card.

How a month runs on ManageYourGym

  1. 01

Members and plans in one place

Every member carries their plan, their dues, their attendance history and any PT package on one screen — so the front desk answers questions without opening a spreadsheet.

  2. 02

    The floor checks itself in

Members scan a QR at the door from their own phone. No queue at the desk, no register, and live occupancy tells you how full the floor is before you walk onto it.

  3. 03

Money lands in your own account

Online payments go through your own Razorpay or Stripe account and settle directly to you. We take no cut of your members’ money, and GST invoices come out with your own numbering.

  4. 04

    The month closes itself

Renewals, dues and trainer payouts compute from the same records the floor already produced. Trainer earnings follow whichever compensation model that trainer is on.

When GymForce is the better choice

Every comparison page ever written says the author wins. Here is where we honestly do not.

You want unlimited members for a flat fee

Their entry plan is uncapped at ₹9,999 a year. Ours caps at 150 members and then steps up. For a 300-member gym watching every rupee, that is a real and defensible reason to pick them over us.

Your attendance runs on a biometric device

GymForce integrates biometric hardware. We do not, on purpose — we went the QR route because fingerprint readers fail on wet hands and cost money to keep alive. But if you have already bought the device and your members are used to it, we are asking you to throw that away.

You need UPI auto-debit mandates

They set up recurring UPI mandates so the money pulls itself. We take UPI payments through your own gateway, but we do not run mandates. On a large base of monthly members that difference is real collection effort.

You want the extra modules

Workout planning, inventory, loyalty and an enquiry pipeline all ship with GymForce. We do not have any of the four. If your shortlist is scored on module count, we lose it.

Questions people ask

Is GymForce cheaper than ManageYourGym?

Yes. Their Growth plan is ₹9,999 a year with unlimited active members; our Starter is ₹14,389 a year and covers 150. Their Pro plan, which adds multi-branch and payroll, is ₹14,999 against ₹23,990 for our Professional. On price per member they win, and we would rather say so than bury it.

Why do you cap members when GymForce does not?

Because our tiers are priced on the size of the gym rather than on messaging credits. It is a genuine trade-off and it goes against us on the sticker price. What you get for it is that reminder volume is not a separate meter you can run out of mid-month.

Do you integrate biometric devices?

No. We use QR check-in from the member’s own phone instead. That was a deliberate call — biometric readers fail on wet or damaged fingers, need power and maintenance at the door, and cost money to replace. If you already own the hardware and it works for you, GymForce integrates it and we do not.

Do you support UPI auto-debit?

Not as a mandate. You can take UPI payments through your own gateway account, and reminders go out automatically over WhatsApp, but the member confirms each payment. GymForce has native auto-debit mandates; if recurring collection is your biggest headache, weigh that heavily.

What does ManageYourGym do better?

Personal training, mainly. Three trainer compensation models rather than one commission field, a session ledger so a package balance is never an argument, and a native trainer app the trainer closes sessions from on the floor. Beyond PT: live occupancy, class booking with waitlists, and deeper owner analytics — revenue by stream, retention and peak hours.

Can I move my data across from GymForce?

Yes. Members, plans, payment history and outstanding dues can be imported, and we do the migration with you rather than emailing you a CSV template. Ask about it before you commit — it is the part most people underestimate.
