Delete Your Account
Last updated: June 8, 2026
This page explains how to delete your ManageYourGym account — operated by VectorWay Technologies (OPC) Private Limited — and what happens to your data when you do. You can delete your account directly inside the mobile app, or request deletion by email if you can no longer sign in.
There are two apps. Options 1 and 2 below cover the ManageYourGym app used by gym owners and staff. If you are a gym member using the ManageYourGym Member app, see Gym members below — your record belongs to your gym, so the route is different.
Option 1: Delete from within the app
The fastest way to delete your account is from the ManageYourGym mobile app:
- Open the ManageYourGym app and sign in.
- Tap the More tab in the bottom navigation.
- Scroll down and tap Delete account.
- Tap Send confirmation code — we email a 6-digit code to your registered email address.
- Enter the code and confirm. Your account is then scheduled for deletion.
Option 2: Request deletion by email
If you can no longer access the app or sign in, email us from the address registered to your account at support@manageyourgym.com with the subject "Account Deletion Request". Include your gym name and registered email or phone number so we can verify your identity. We will action verified requests within 30 days.
Gym members
If you use the ManageYourGym Member app, your member record — your contact details, attendance history and payment records — is created and held by your gym, not by you. Your gym is the controller of that data, so deletion is requested through them:
- Ask your gym's front desk to delete your member record. They can do this from their ManageYourGym dashboard, and it removes your profile, attendance history and app access.
- If your gym is unresponsive or you have left it, email privacy@manageyourgym.com from your registered email address with your gym's name. We will verify the request and action it within 30 days.
Deleting the app from your phone does not delete your data — use one of the routes above.
What gets deleted
What is removed depends on your role on the account:
- Gym owners. Deleting the account permanently removes the entire gym and all of its data — including members, membership plans, payments and invoices, attendance records, trainers, and gym settings. Any active subscription is cancelled and will not renew.
- Staff and admin users. Deleting your account removes only your personal login and profile. The gym's data and other users are not affected.
- Gym members. Deleting your member record removes your profile, contact details, attendance history and access to the Member app. Invoices your gym has already issued are kept where financial-reporting law requires it — see Data we may retain below.
30-day recovery window
After you confirm deletion, your account is deactivated immediately and scheduled for permanent deletion 30 days later. During this window you can recover your account by simply signing back in. Once the 30 days elapse, all personal data associated with the account is permanently and irreversibly deleted from our systems and cannot be restored. Gym owners who recover within the window may need to re-subscribe to continue using paid features.
Data we may retain
We may retain a limited set of records where the law requires it — for example, transaction and tax records needed to meet statutory financial-reporting obligations — and certain anonymized, aggregated analytics that cannot identify you. Any such retention is described in our Privacy Policy.
